Addiction Psychiatry - Physician at Tadiso Inc. summary:

The Addiction Psychiatry Physician is responsible for conducting mental health evaluations, managing therapeutic interactions, and overseeing medication management for patients. The role requires adherence to professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and effective communication with clients and staff. Candidates must hold an MD/DO degree, possess a valid medical license, and have a minimum of two years of psychiatric practice experience.

  • Responsible for mental health evaluations.
  • Responsible for therapeutic interactions with patients.
  • Conduct staff consultations and medication management meetings.
  • Enter health records and documentation into SMART system.

  • Demonstrates self-assessment by separation of personal issues from work environment.
  • Uphold professional ethics and confidentiality policies of Tadiso Inc. including HIPAA.
  • Receives patient information, inquires and clarifies as necessary.
  • Uses time productively.
  • Adheres to dress code; appearance is neat and clean.
  • Completes annual educational requirements.
  • Seeks and responds to supervision.
  • Reports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designated time.
  • Demonstrates ability to handle multiple tasks.

Language Skills

  • Demonstrates ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with clients, staff, the public and other entities.
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Possess basic computer skills.

Requirements/Education:

  • MD/DO degree required from an accredited educational institution.
  • Minimum two years experience working as practicing psychiatrist.
  • Current state medical license, valid and in good standing.

Physical Demands:

  • Work environment of moderation in temperature, noise.
  • Sitting at desk for hours.
  • Close vision at a computer.
  • Ability to carry 5lbs.
  • Repetitive motions for computer use.
