TRC is partnered with a leading government agency to identify a Senior Consultant skilled in full-stack development and AWS solutions architecture. This role offers the opportunity to design and implement secure, high-impact systems supporting mission-critical data operations.
 
Summary
The Senior Consultant will design, develop, and deploy a secure, user-facing web interface and supporting backend systems to manage file uploads, exports, and review workflows. This position will also oversee integration with existing data lake environments, implement notification mechanisms, and ensure compliance through security and code reviews.
 
Responsibilities

• Design and implement a web-based UI for local file upload and export management.
• Develop a review board interface for submission tracking, voting, and export approvals.
• Integrate sophisticated voting and destination-determination logic within the platform.
• Embed data lineage tracking within the existing AWS data lake environment.
• Build notification-based alerting systems for new export submissions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure enterprise security compliance.
• Conduct independent security and code reviews for all deliverables.
• Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code (AWS CDK preferred) for consistent, automated deployment.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (Professional or Data Engineer Associate preferred)
• Proven Full-Stack Software Development experience.
• Strong TypeScript development skills.
• Proficiency with React and/or Next.js frameworks.
• Experience developing Infrastructure-as-Code solutions ( AWS CDK preferred ).
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL database management .
• Knowledge of Data Engineering principles and data integration.
• Familiarity with ABAC (Attribute-Based Access Control) implementation.
• U.S. Citizenship and Active TS/SCI Clearance required.
