Behavioral Health Fellow - San Francisco Department of Public Health (9910) Join to apply for the Behavioral Health Fellow - San Francisco Department of Public Health (9910) role at San Francisco Department of Public Health Role Description The San Francisco Department of Public Health (DPH) is accepting applications for the second year of the Behavioral Health Fellowship. This is an excellent opportunity for graduate students in their final semester or recent graduates (Master’s degree or higher) pursuing careers as Licensed Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC). The program offers practical training and exposure to public service as a Behavioral Health Clinician. Location & Schedule Various locations within the SF Health Network, including community clinics, Laguna Honda Hospital, Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, and Jail Health Services. Schedule varies depending on the program. Program Details The fellowship lasts up to one year and includes training in clinical services, documentation, mental health disorders, evidence-based interventions, and application for a Behavioral Health Clinician position. Qualifications Recent graduate within the last three months or currently enrolled in the last semester of an accredited master's program in social work, marriage and family therapy, or clinical counseling meeting BBS requirements. Applicants must be within three months of graduation or in their last semester at the time of application or at the closing date. Desirable Qualifications Internship experience in SFDPH or supervised clinical direct services. Fluency in Chinese, Spanish, Filipino, or other languages spoken in underserved communities.
