CAD Operator III

Location: Circleville, OH 43113
Shift: 8AM to 4:30PM or similar ( 7:00-3:30, 7:30-4:00)
Job Duties:
Contingent employee will be responsible to update P&ID's, Layout drawings, Plan drawings, Iso drawings, etc. in AutoCAD as needed and will be tasked with optimizing and maintaining the Autodesk drawing vault to ensure it is accurate and maintained appropriately. Some in-plant (field) work (drawing verification and evaluation for accuracy) will be required.
We need someone who is good with P&ID’s, Plan drawings, Elevation drawings, and Isometrics. They need to be educated and experienced with the ISA drawing standards. Also, we need someone who has worked with Autodesk Vault (the facility uses Vault Professional 2023) as they will be the primary user / admin of this system.
Level III: 5-7 years.
Under general supervision, assists the engineering or manufacturing processes by creating working plans, detailed drawings, and layouts of components and assemblies from verbal instructions, rough notes or detailed sketches.
Edits stored information and updates changes to drawings for later use through the use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) equipment such as digitizers, plotters, CRT's, and associated peripheral equipment and software.
Calculates routine engineering computations, prepares specifications, adjusts drawings or specifications, prepares material lists, engineering orders, and change requests.
Requires ability to make mathematical calculations and familiarity with CAD and associated equipment.
Typically requires a high school education or equivalent and required years of experience.
