As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a seamless dining experience, from the moment they enter our restaurant to the time they leave. **Responsibilities:** - Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter the restaurant. - Assist customers in placing their orders, providing recommendations when needed, and ensuring accuracy in orders. - Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, processing payments using various methods (cash, credit cards, mobile payments, etc.). - Maintain a clean and organized cashier station, ensuring it is well-stocked with necessary supplies. - Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, escalating issues when necessary. - Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations. - Uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the cashier area and surrounding vicinity. **Qualifications:** - Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred. - Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on friendliness, courtesy, and empathy. - Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus). - Ability to handle cash and operate a cash register accurately. - Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Enthusiasm for Caribbean cuisine and a willingness to learn about our menu offerings.
