CATERING DELIVERY DRIVER

SUMMARY

Were looking for a Catering Delivery Driver to provide outstanding service to our awesome catering customers. Youll work with our catering operations/logistics staff to ensure delivery order details are complete and accurate. Youll follow all standard rules and regulations while driving to ensure your safety and that of your fellow drivers on the road. And youll make sure our delivery vans and catering equipment are well-maintained and accounted for. By providing prompt, attentive service, youll play a key role in creating a great catering experience for our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain neat, well-groomed appearance in adherence to company dress code
• Confirm order delivery details with catering operations/logistics staff
• Communicate any concerns/questions regarding deliveries to catering operations/logistics staff
• Plan and prepare in advance so that orders are delivered on time
• Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and proper storage of catering equipment (ex. chafing dishes, chafing fuel, warmers, food containers, etc.)
• Drive to/from delivery locations -and- depart/arrive in a timely manner
• Follow all local, state, and federal health and safety protocols, especially those related to driving
• Provide outstanding customer service throughout delivery process
• Assist customers with food set-up as needed
• Keep delivery vans neat and clean
• Collect and file maintenance records for delivery vans (ex. gas, service, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to move and maneuver quickly in various environments, often ascending/descending via stairs
• Ability to move and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work/drive in various weather conditions
• Ability to operate/follow GPS instructions
• Valid driver license -and- driving record free of outstanding violations (no current warrants)
• High school diploma or GED preferable
