*Job Title:* Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
*Job Type:* Full-Time (4 Days/Week)
*Location:* Pediatric Associates of Norwood & Franklin (PANF) Norwood, MA & Franklin, MA
*Position Summary:*
Pediatric Associates of Norwood & Franklin is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated *Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)* or *Physician Assistant (PA)* to join our collaborative, family-centered primary care team. This full-time position includes four clinical days per week (one of which is typically a 12:30 PM 8:30 PM evening shift), participation in a rotating schedule of approximately 20 weekend days per year, and 3 holidays annually.
As a PNP or PA at PANF, you will provide high-quality, comprehensive healthcare to infants, children, and adolescents in a supportive, team-based setting.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and developmental screenings
* Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic pediatric conditions
* Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with patients and families
* Administer immunizations, medications, and other treatments per clinical guidelines
* Provide education on health promotion, illness prevention, and developmental milestones
* Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members to coordinate care
* Perform and assist with minor procedures as appropriate to scope of practice
* Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR Epic)
* Participate in ongoing professional development and remain current with pediatric care standards
*Qualifications:*
* For PNPs: Masters degree in Nursing (MSN) with certification as a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-PC) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
* For PAs: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current NCCPA certification
* Current and unrestricted Massachusetts license, MCSR and DEA registration
* Minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience, preferably in a primary care setting
* Strong clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care planning for pediatric populations
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient engagement skills
* Comfort working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
* Experience with Epic or similar EMR systems preferred
