Clinical Nurse Educator - Medical/Surgical Units
Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing quality healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities. Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been ranked a top hospital in South Carolina by the Carolina Center for Medical Excellence for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia. Services provided at the hospital include emergency medical care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, and behavioral health services.

The Medical/Surgical Educator is a registered nurse who works as an expert practitioner within a specialized field of nursing. This individual is responsible for evaluating and implementing evidence-based practice, education, and professional development, within critical care areas. They serve as a clinical resource for the Medical/Surgical units (3M, 4M, 5M) Nursing staff for bedside care. In addition, they will focus on new graduate nurses development within the Medical/Surgical Departments.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited NLN approved RN program. Bachelor's degree in Nursing required, Master's degree in Education preferred. Five (5) years of recent clinical experience in a Medical/Surgical setting. One year of education background preferred. Current SC nursing license or compact state license; BLS, ACLS required. Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, outcomes oriented, and knowledge of education methods and clinical practice.
