The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive cohesive and market-relevant color strategies. Key Responsibilities: 1. Trend Research & Concept Development Conduct thorough research into color, material, and design trends. Partner with the internal color team to conceptualize innovative and brand-aligned color stories. Create mood boards, digital swatches, and visual presentations to effectively convey creative direction. 2. Seasonal Color Palette Development Assist in curating and refining seasonal color palettes that reflect target consumer preferences and align with brand identity. Apply knowledge of color theory, psychology, and market insights to propose relevant and appealing color combinations. Revise palettes in response to stakeholder feedback and evolving market trends. 3. File & Asset Organization Organize and streamline vectorized line art and design files to enhance workflow efficiency. Maintain consistent file naming conventions and organizational systems to improve accessibility. Prepare detailed color specification sheets including accurate color codes, Pantone references, and material callouts. Ensure precision and consistency across all documentation. Manage a version-controlled database for color specs and revisions to support production workflows. Provide hands-on assistance in the development of product color applications. Collaborate with design and development teams to resolve color-related challenges. Offer creative and technical input to achieve visually compelling and production-ready results.
