Job Description

Commercial Concrete Finisher

Aerotek is looking for a hardworking, knowledgeable, and dedicated person to join our client's team as a Commercial Concrete Finisher for their commercial division. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading General Contracting Company in Indiana.

Responsibilities
  • Smoothing out, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete
  • Operating power construction equipment
  • Setting the forms that hold concrete
  • Spreading, leveling, and smoothing concrete
  • Lifting, carrying, and holding materials, tools, and supplies
  • Placing concrete into forms
  • Removing rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces
  • Patching holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound
  • Understanding and interpreting blueprints
  • Performing daily tasks in any weather condition
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Commercial Concrete Finisher
  • Ability to operate power tools such as trowels, float blades, and troweling blades
  • Experience with groove cutters/jointer tools
  • Must be willing to work long hours outdoors in various conditions and lift 75 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
