Job Title: Construction Technician

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Construction Technicians to engage in a variety of tasks including dirt work, pipework, erosion control, maintenance, and the installation of miscellaneous items. You will assist operators with pipe installation and cutting to grade, as well as complete miscellaneous punch list duties such as reseeding, adding park benches, replacing concrete, and touching up paint.

Responsibilities

• Perform dirt work, pipework, and erosion control tasks.
• Assist in the maintenance and installation of miscellaneous items.
• Support operators with pipe installation and cutting to grade.
• Complete punch list duties such as reseeding, adding park benches, replacing concrete, and touching up paint.
• Engage in general labor, landscape work, and earthwork.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year experience in erosion control, utilities, earthwork, or landscaping.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and handle tasks such as lifting boulders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

You will work outdoors on various projects such as infrastructure, athletic fields, and river projects. The company is a general contractor that performs scope gap fill work, hiring subcontractors for trades while managing subgrade preparation. River work is managed in-house, with laborers collaborating with operators to set boulders, rocks, and grade.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
