CIC Construction Group, a construction company in Cary, North Carolina, with offices in Florida and Puerto Rico, is actively seeking a highly motivated and successful Project Manager to join our growing team. This full-time, non-exempt position requires expertise in the Life Sciences sector, and possess strong time management skills.

 

The Project Manager will collaborate closely with a diverse range of professionals, including consultants, engineers, contractors, accountants, and operations personnel, fostering teamwork to deliver dynamic projects.

 

As CIC Construction Group continues to expand its operations, we are actively seeking individuals who not only possess the necessary skills but also align with our vibrant company culture. The Project Manager will be a key contributor to our dynamic team in Cary, North Carolina.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Clients, Engineers, and Supervisors in effective project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Conduct project buy-out and assign the suitable subcontractors to the project
  • Manage project P&L for optimal results and benefits
  • Participate in weekly and monthly job site safety walks 
  • Oversee supervision for Quality Assurance and Controls
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks according to weekly schedules
  • Manage project files in Procore, including updating RFI, Submittals, and Change Orders
  • Compile and record weekly actual costs and provide monthly billing to clients
  • Foster and nurture relationships with potential and existing through regular meetings
  • Actively engage in regional outreach expos to connect with clients and professional associations
  • Prepare comprehensive project closeout documentation
  • Generate weekly reports on Davis/Bacon Wages and fulfill LEED requirement reporting
  • Conduct lessons learned analysis during project closeout

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering or accounting

· Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the industrial construction industry

· Proficiency in computer skills and software programs commonly used in the construction industry

· Strong knowledge of Procore and Primavera software

· Familiarity with using Touch Plan or a similar tasking software

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· Ability to multi-task effectively and collaborate with a diverse project team 

 

The base salary offered for this position is competitive and aligned with the North Carolina marketplace. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate’s years of experience and level of education. As for the company-supplied benefits package, detailed information will be provided and discussed with the selected candidate at a later stage.
