Position Overview:
This is an entry-level position designed for individuals who are eager to learn the art of custom finishing in a professional, fast-paced environment. You’ll receive hands-on training from experienced finishers and gain skills in sanding, spraying, color matching, and surface preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Learn and assist in sanding, prepping, and finishing custom millwork and cabinetry
Help mix and apply waterborne paints, stains, and clear coats using professional spray equipment
Work under the supervision of senior finishers to maintain quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Participate in team meetings and ongoing safety training
What We're Looking For:
Eagerness to learn a skilled trade
Attention to detail and pride in your work
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Comfortable with power tools and shop equipment (experience is a plus but not required)
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
Experience in woodworking, painting, or related trades
Knowledge of finishes, wood types, or shop safety practices
