Dental Sterilization Technician Location Silver Spring, MD :

No Experience Needed! Willing to train a hard working and reliable person!

Aspen Hill General and Cosmetic Dentistry is a large multi-specialty dental practice in need of a sterilization tech. Many opportunities to grow and expand. Willing to cross train for dental assisting as well!

Duties include:

• Collecting used and contaminated equipment, instruments, and supplies for sorting and decontamination.
• Manually cleaning and sterilizing all dental instruments
• Monitoring and operating sterilization equipment.
• Sterilizing, preparing, wrapping, and organizing equipment into instrument trays for use during dental procedures.

Requirements:

• A High School diploma
• Previous experience preferred, but not required (we will train)
• A clear background check and proof of up-to-date immunizations.
• Strong attention to detail, vigilance, and meticulous care on the job.
• Passion for keeping people safe.
• Good judgment and critical-thinking skills.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to handle fragile equipment.
• Technical skills and familiarity with sterilization techniques.
• The ability to work well in a team or independently.
• Spanish Speaking is a MUST

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
