Job Title: Depot Technician

Department: Operations

FLSA Classification: Non-exempt

Reports To: Infrastructure Manager

Pay Range: $22-$24/hour

Form 10 Group is a growing IT services company headquartered in Tampa, FL, specializing in providing on-site support to state government offices throughout the nation. We are looking for skilled Depot Technicians to join our team.

ROLE SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The Depot Technician will work in both the warehouse and office to support nationwide IT equipment programs. This role requires technicians to be able to accurately track inventory, re-image computers and install custom configurations, and schedule installations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS

• Manage warehouse inventory of equipment and parts.
• Manage stock-on-hand for a team of technicians working in the field.
• Accurately track and update computerized inventory records daily.
• Forecast parts requirements and order as needed.
• Perform repairs on printers, computers and other types of hardware in the warehouse lab. Manage warranty service.
• Ship and receive parts and equipment.
• Performs re-imaging on computers and installs custom configurations.
• Assist Management staff in complete asset tracking per client accepted procedures. This includes receiving any hardware asset and continuing throughout the entire asset lifestyle.
• Daily deployment devise to be pulled and staged for next day's deployment.
• Assistance with periodic inventory audits as required by client procedures.
• Assist in process development and improvement for client's asset management team.
• May assist with ad hoc imaging of devices for deployment, using the most up to date client provided image. Verifying system OS and device drivers are fully up to date.
• Other duties as required or requested.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITIES

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT field service or IT equipment deployments in an enterprise environment.
• Strong Communication skills.
• Experience with inventory management.
• Technical knowledge of Microsoft OS and troubleshooting in a Windows environment.
  Experience repairing document printers and computers.
• Ability to multi-task effectively, be organized, and engaged.
• Experience with computer imaging and installing new custom configurations.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This role will travel occasionally, generally local travel using company vehicles and/or personal vehicle.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

A valid and unrestricted driver's license, at time of employment, is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

Bending, kneeling and lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in a warehouse and office environment. Exposure to heat, dust and particulate matter are common.
