• BS/BE/BA in Computer Science • Strong Java knowledge • Good SQL knowledge and able to create and work with databases • Good UNIX knowledge • Excellent problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and documentation skills • Excellent team player with ability to work with multiple stake holders • Excellent ability to deliver under pressure • Worked in a Hadoop environment as a Developer • Some hands on experience in writing MapReduce jobs in Java, Pig, or Hive Knowledge of Test Automation • Understand Java, JEE, Javascript, O/R Mapping, SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX scripting, UML, Eclipse, Frameworks (Struts, Stripes, Spring), CVS/SubVersion, HTML, CSS
