Job Summary:
A highly organized CMT (Construction Materials Testing) Dispatcher for the DFW area. In this full-time role, the candidate will be instrumental in the efficient scheduling and coordination of material inspection tasks for our field technicians. The candidate will serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication and the timely completion of project requirements. This position demands exceptional communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills within a professional office setting.
Duties:
Client Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, effectively handling requests for field and laboratory testing services.
Dispatch Management: Efficiently assign job tasks to qualified field technicians, taking into account their expertise, location, and availability. Optimize technician routes using our fleet tracking system to maximize efficiency.
Progress Reporting: Proactively communicate project status updates, potential delays, and any relevant information to supervisors and project managers.
Data Accuracy: Accurately input all dispatch-related information into our software systems and diligently reconcile daily assignments to ensure data integrity.
Fleet Oversight: Monitor fleet activity and utilization to identify opportunities for improved technician deployment and resource management.
Call Management: Professionally and efficiently manage multiple incoming and outgoing phone calls simultaneously, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Service Excellence: Contribute to ensuring projects are executed accurately and delivered on schedule, consistently striving for exceptional client satisfaction.
Education/Qualifications:
Exceptional telephone etiquette, active listening skills, and clear verbal communication abilities.
Proven ability to effectively multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
A collaborative and positive team player with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and demonstrated experience utilizing fleet tracking software or similar dispatch management systems.
A minimum of 2-3 years of consistent experience in roles requiring the management of high call volumes.
Prior experience in a dispatching or coordination role is highly preferred.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.
