Drexel Building Supply, a leader in the building materials industry, is seeking a skilled Door & Millwork Finisher to join our manufacturing team. This role focuses on the finishing aspects of door and millwork products, ensuring high-quality preparation and application of finishes in accordance with project specifications. This position requires attention to detail and a dedication to crafting products that meet both aesthetic and functional standards to support our construction and renovation projects. Prepare, sand, and clean doors and millwork before applying finishes. Select, mix, and apply stains, paints, and other finishes according to manufacturer directions and project requirements. Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in the finishing process, including sprayers, sanders, and brushes. Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications. Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations. Regularly check inventory and order finishing supplies as needed. Proficient in using hand tools and powered equipment commonly used in wood finishing. Knowledge of different types of finishes and application methods. Strong attention to detail and precision. Ability to follow instructions and production schedules.
