AAA is hiring part-time Driver Training Instructors to join our dedicated Driving School team. In this role, youll teach safe driving techniques to students of all ages and experience levels, foster a positive learning environment, and apply your knowledge of state driving laws with patience and professionalism./ppHourly Pay: $16.00/hour/ppFlexible Scheduling - Part-Time (20-25 hours/week): Were looking for team members who are available to work flexible shifts of at least 4.5 hours across both day and evening hours. Weekend availability is required, either one full 8-hour shift or two shorter 4.5-hour shifts split across both weekend days. Weekly schedules may vary depending on student demand./ppPaid Licensing Training/ppGrowth Advancement Opportunities/ppWhat Youll Do/pulliDeliver behind-the-wheel instruction to students of varying ages and experience levels, following AAAs curriculum and training standards/liliUse our driving school software to track and manage student progress/liliAssess student performance and provide personalized guidance/liliStay current on safe and defensive driving practices and maintain all required state documentation/li/ulpWhat Youll Bring/pulliExperience in driving instruction, education, or the automotive industry/liliConfidence working with the public, especially teens/liliA strong commitment to promoting safe driving habits/liliFlexibility to accommodate student schedules, including weekday afternoons and at least one weekend day/liliPhysical ability to sit for extended periods, hear and see in all weather conditions, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and lift up to 25lbs/liliMust be capable of safely assuming control of the vehicle from the passenger seat during instruction or emergency situations/li/ulpRequirements/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent/liliValid drivers license with a clean driving record/liliMinimum of 5 years of driving experience/liliMust obtain state-issued Driving School Instructor license, which includes passing a DMV-required physical exam/liliMust successfully complete a background check and drug screening/li/ulpAuto Club Enterprises is the largest federation of AAA clubs in the nation.
