JOB SUMMARY

ArcFlo is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Designer/Drafter to join our engineering team. The Electrical Drafter will be responsible for creating manufacturing drawings using Zuken (Electrical CAD software). This role works closely with electrical engineers and manufacturing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creating manufacturing drawings using Zuken software that meet customer specifications
• Providing support to production team on product drawings
• Verifying drawings against customer specifications and bill of materials
• Revise and update drawings as necessary
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Associates or technical 2-year degree preferred but not required
• Prior experience with CAD software, electrical preferred

Skills, Talents and/or Characteristics

• Basic computer skills, knowledge of Windows and/or Microsoft Office
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and terminology
• Ability to work in a team environment and own processes with minimal oversight
• Demonstrated ability to understand bill of materials and mechanical drawings

This position is located at 3030 Kersten Court, Kalamazoo MI. This position is mainly stationary in a manufacturing office setting. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

The employee must wear safety glasses with side shields and safety toed shoes while performing some duties of this job.
