Entry-Level Administrative Billing Assistant (Collegeville)

We are a behavioral health practice seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time Entry-Level Administrative Billing Assistant . This is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their career in healthcare administration. You'll receive on-the-job training to support accurate billing, insurance claim submission, and other essential administrative tasks. • Enter and process claims daily (primary and secondary) electronically and via paper when needed
• Post payments
• Review and resolve rejected claims
• Conduct accounts receivable (A/R) follow-up with insurers and patients; take timely actions to secure payments
• Generate and mail patient statements
• Verify insurance coverage for new and existing clients
• Obtain and manage insurance authorizations when needed
• Act as a billing resource for staff, patients, and payers regarding insurance and payment processes
• Maintain clear communication with front desk staff, clinicians, and leadership regarding billing updates
• Monday to Friday schedule (no weekends)

Requirements

• A High School Diploma
• Comfortable with computer systems (training provided on our platforms)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Prior office or customer service experience
