About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for CFCC in Transaction Banking. This key advisory role is focused on providing conduct and financial crime compliance advice and support to the transaction banking sales teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of compliance, conduct, and FCC policies and procedures within the relevant transaction banking processes. This includes ensuring that the business strategy is in line with the company's risk appetite and that all activities are in compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also involves providing strategic support, promoting a culture of compliance, and proactively managing non-financial risks. Candidates for this role should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in a regulated financial institution or equivalent, with a strong background in compliance and/or risk management. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of data conduct-related risks, as well as a keen interest in emerging technologies such as distributed ledger technology, APIs, and artificial intelligence, and their associated regulations. Key competencies include sharp business acumen, strong leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various stakeholders. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating compliance risks, as well as the ability to provide robust challenge and support to senior management.
