Job Description
Performs responsible semiskilled work in processing orders, receiving, performing quality inspections, moving materials within the warehouse, and loading/unloading trucks; does related work as required. Work is performed under the direction of the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities include:
Operating a forklift and other equipment as needed.
Preparing orders based on packing lists.
Verifies color, shade, and quantity selected for shipment.
Palletizes cartons according to shipping orders.
Moves pallets of material within warehouse and into/ off of trucks.
Ensures trucks are loaded properly according to the shipping order.
Maintains order and condition of all material stored in warehouse.
Inspects assigned equipment on a daily basis.
Performs general housekeeping duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Forklift experience required.
Ability to work in high areas.
Attention to detail.
Excellent verbal communication
Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Tile experience plus but not required.
