Base pay range Overview The German Language Expert plays a crucial role in our organization, providing essential language and cultural expertise to facilitate effective communication and understanding in German-speaking regions. This individual will be responsible for translating, interpreting, and ensuring grammatical accuracy, as well as understanding and conveying cultural nuances. Key Responsibilities Translate written materials from German to English and vice versa Interpret spoken conversations and meetings in German and English Ensure grammatical accuracy and linguistic fluency in all translated materials Understand and convey cultural nuances and context in translations and interpretations Collaborate with teams to provide language and cultural expertise Assist in the localization of content for German-speaking audiences Conduct language and cultural research as needed Proofread and edit German language materials Provide language support for internal and external communications Communicate effectively with German-speaking stakeholders Stay updated with language and cultural trends in German-speaking regions Participate in language and cultural training programs Contribute to the development of language resources and guidelines Manage translation and interpretation projects Ensure compliance with language-related standards and requirements Required Qualifications Native or near-native fluency in German Bachelor's degree in German, Linguistics, Translation, or related field Proven experience in translation and interpretation Strong understanding of German grammar and linguistic conventions Cultural knowledge and sensitivity to nuances in the German language Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment Attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in language-related software and tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment Strong organizational and time management skills Professional certification in translation or interpretation (optional) Previous experience in a similar role (optional) Seniority Level Associate Employment Type Full-time Job Function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr Mindtel
