Hematology - Physician at IU Health Medical Group - Indiana University Health summary:

A Benign Hematologist physician providing full-time clinical care to adult patients, primarily managing diagnosis and treatment in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The role involves independent judgment in patient care plans and leadership of interdisciplinary teams at IU Health locations, including IU Simon Cancer Center and IU Health West Hospital. The position requires BE/BC certification in Hematology and includes occasional weekend call duties.

IU Health is seeking a patient-focused Benign Hematologist to join our clinical practice in the Indianapolis area.

• Full-time employment opportunity for adult, benign hempatients
• 100% clinical
• 60% outpatient / 40% inpatient
• Expected patient volume in clinic: 40/week
• Monday - Friday, 12 weekends of call annually
• Practice locations include IU Simon Cancer Center and IU Health West Hospital

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent judgement in diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulation of treatment plans, and direction of the interdisciplinary team in achieving the goals of the patient care plan
