LSI seeks a skilled and reliable Residential HVAC Installer to join our clients team. This is a DIRECT HIRE position.
The ideal candidate will have experience installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential homes and light commercial . This role involves performing installations of HVAC systems and components, ensuring quality workmanship, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and thermostats
- Review job specifications to determine installation procedures
- Load and unload materials and equipment at job sites
- Conduct start-ups and basic system testing to ensure proper functionality
- Follow local HVAC codes and regulations for all installations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with homeowners, supervisors, and team members
- Provide guidance to apprentices or helpers as needed
- Complete installation paperwork and document job completion
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in residential HVAC installation preferred
- EPA Certification (Type I & II or Universal)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces and varying temperatures
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
