Job Details

Our dynamic Firm is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join our team. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can lead HVAC projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and construction, with a proven track record in managing budgets, defining the scope of work, and controlling project costs. Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement large HVAC projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project.

Education/Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the HVAC / MEP Industry.
• Ability to Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously, including both large and small jobs. Proven experience in Project Management, Budgeting, and Cost Control.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, construction processes, and mechanical engineering principles.
• Leadership Skills to guide large project teams and the HVAC MEP department.
• Proficiency in project management software tools.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
