Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary: $72,000 - $133,000 (see breakdown by licensure below)

Salary Breakdown by Licensure & Experience:

Mental Health Counselor I (MA): $72,843 - $85,698

Mental Health Counselor II (MA Licensed): $87,412 - $102,838

Mental Health Counselor III (Post-Doc/Unlicensed Psychologist): $103,854 - $122,181

Mental Health Counselor IV (Licensed Psychologist): $113,201 - $133,178

Key Responsibilities:

Provide culturally sensitive, client-centered individual, group, and family counseling services.

Facilitate referrals to community resources and coordinate case management services.

Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records in accordance with standards and regulations.

Actively participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and professional development training.

Collaborate with primary care providers to ensure integrated behavioral health care for patients.

Participate in case conferences and care coordination with internal and external partners.

Complete and maintain LPS 5150 Authorization certification and provide Officer-of-the-Day support.

Offer immediate support and crisis intervention for patients in acute behavioral health situations.

Foster strong relationships within a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Other related duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Active ASW, AMFT, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist in the state of California.

Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.

At least one year of clinical experience in Integrated Behavioral Health, Specialty Mental Health, and/or Brief Therapy Models.

Experience in behavioral health counseling within a healthcare setting is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of laws and ethical standards governing clinical care.

Familiarity with DSM-V criteria for diagnosing behavioral health conditions.

Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation best practices.

Preferred knowledge of IMPACT Model of Care and Managed Care Models.

Bilingual skills in Spanish, Mandarin, or Vietnamese are a plus but not required.
