Overview

Role: Java Developer (with C++ and GUI experience)

Location: NYC, NY (Locals only NY/NJ) (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Contract- W2

Experience: 5+ Years

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java development, including n-tier architecture (UI, BLL, DAL).
• Strong hands-on experience with C++ (required).
• Experience working with GUI frameworks and GUI-based application development.
• Proficient in using application servers such as JBoss and Tomcat.
• Familiarity with Documentum, socket programming, and React 2 (required).
• Experience working in Agile environments and across all phases of the SDLC.
• Strong scripting and web technology knowledge: HTML, XML, CGI, JSON, JavaScript, Shell scripting.
• Proficiency with SQL, PL/SQL, and exposure to Cloudera.
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and best development practices.
• Experience with persistence technologies: Spring, Hibernate, iBATIS, JDO, JDBC.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently and efficiently.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting automated tests.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems, applications, and tools in a complex technical environment.
