About the Role: Executive Chef Full-Time Salary position

The Executive Chef at Heathman Lodge will play a pivotal role in shaping the culinary experience for our guests, ensuring that every dish reflects our commitment to quality and innovation. This position requires a visionary leader who can design and implement a diverse menu that caters to a wide range of tastes while maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. The Executive Chef will oversee kitchen operations, manage staff, and collaborate with other departments to create memorable dining experiences that enhance our real estate offerings. Additionally, this role involves budgeting and cost control to ensure profitability while sourcing the finest ingredients. Ultimately, the Executive Chef will be responsible for establishing a culinary brand that aligns with the values of Ashland Hills and elevates our reputation in the industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a high-volume kitchen or within the real estate development sector.
  • Familiarity with menu engineering and cost control strategies.
  • Previous experience in event catering or large-scale food service operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a seasonal menu that showcases local ingredients and culinary trends.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high performance and teamwork.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost control to maintain budgetary goals.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the management team to create special events and promotions that enhance guest experiences.
