Job Description
_*Journeyman Electrician - *_
Midwest Electric and Generator is looking to add an additional Journeyman Electrician to our team! This individual will be responsible for leading an installation crew, providing onsite residential and commercial electrical troubleshooting, and daily generator installations of residential and commercial generators for our wonderful customers. This position will require travel throughout the state and candidates are required to have a valid driver’s license. The ideal candidate for this position will have exceptional communication skills, a good understanding of residential and commercial electrical wiring, and a basic understanding of residential and/or commercial generators. They also MUST have a Journeyman/Journey worker Electrician license.
*Primary Duties include*
* Oversee/lead Electrical Apprentices
* Installations of generator remote monitoring
* Installations of automatic transfer switches
* Performing dealer checkout and startup
* Working with electrical systems on a daily basis.
* Company provided take home truck.
* Company provided cell phone.
* Be physically capable of bending, squatting, lifting and able to work in all temperatures year around.
* All tools and items required are company provided.
* Maintain day to day updating of customer accounts in local system.
* Be able to pass a background check.
* Position is available in Elk River MN with overnight travel.
