The Position

This position involves operating and maintaining decorating or production equipment to produce quality products efficiently and safely. Responsibilities include setting up machines, performing routine maintenance and adjustments, meeting production and quality targets, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains understanding of the operating procedure in the department
• Operates decorating equipment and maintenance
• Performs quality production at reasonable speeds, taking full advantage of the equipment available
• Operates, maintains, and performs routine service on any equipment used in the completion of these tasks
• Performs routine setting adjustments on machines
• Ensures that targets are met for quality, productivity, throughput time and on-time delivery
• Adheres to safe work practice as indicated in the policy manual.
• Maintains a clean, safe and well-organized work area
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Skills and Knowledge

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Attention to detail
• Good organizational skills
• Must be able to work well independently or with others

Minimum Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year light industrial machine operation required or minimum of 3 months experience as a Leed’s Production Technician I. Prior operation of CNC, silk screen print press, lathe, or fine adjustment machinery a plus
• Capable of lifting up to 45lbs.
• Use of dollies and pallets
