Lead Solar Installer Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience throughout the installation process.
- Collaborate with a team to install solar panels on residential and commercial properties.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times.
- Accurately read and interpret solar plans.
- Proficiently run PVC pipes and handle electrical wiring of solar arrays/systems (AC and DC).
- Work comfortably on rooftops with various angles and surfaces.
- Layout and assemble solar modules/arrays, mounting hardware, and electrical equipment.
- Communicate job status to management to ensure successful project completion.
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair solar panel systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of roofing experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of solar installation experience for residential properties.
- Clean and professional appearance.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Pride in personal work and commitment to quality control.
- Professional attitude and demeanor.
- Ability to climb ladders, lift heavy objects, and crawl in attics.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Possession of basic trade tools and hand tools.
- Ability to work in challenging environments.
