We’re looking for  passionate teachers  like y ou , to help us create amazing experiences for kids that last a lifetime. ABC Learning Center is currently hiring a lead preschool teacher and a lead toddler teacher at our Mukilteo location to work in our newly opened 4 classroom school expansion!

What you'll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Available Monday to Friday (no weekends, no nights!)
• Experience working with children ages 4 weeks - 7 years is preferred.
• 30 hr. Basic STARS Training, pediatric or infant hands-on CPR & First Aid certification, Bloodborne Pathogens Training, Food Handler's Permit, Portable Background Check, negative TB test, proof of MMR vaccination or antibodies

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants, toddlers and preschoolers ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development using Teaching Strategies' Creative Curriculum.
• Monitor and document each child's progress using Teaching Strategies GOLD, addressing any developmental concerns with school leadership.
• Maintain effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's growth and daily activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive classroom atmosphere and manage behavior effectively.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first-aid procedures and state licensing codes.
• Post regular updates to Procare Parent Engagement App to keep families connected and informed of their child's daily activities
• Attend monthly paid staff meetings from 6:30pm - 7:30pm (dinner provided)
• Perform all other tasks and duties as requested by school leadership

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
