Tatum is working with a law firm in the Washington D.C. area that is looking to bring on a Legal Billing Specialist on a direct hire basis. The firm is well established and has multiple locations across the country. The law firm is on a hybrid schedule and offers a competitive salary. Responsibilities Prepare client billing accurately and on a timely basis Prepare complex billing that would contain multiple discounts and split-party billing Work closely with attorneys to review short pays; review approvals; and resolve any other issues related to e-billing Research and respond in a timely manner to outstanding billing items Create billing schedules and handle billing analysis Ad hoc analysis projects on an as needed basis Requirements Bachelor's degree is desired Prior experience using Elite 3E and e Billing Hub is preferred 5+ years of billing experience at a law firm is preferred Ability to work in a high volume environment is required Intermediate excel skills are required Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys and other office staff is a must Excellent attention to detail is a must have The law firm provides a full slate of benefits which include paid vacation; medical, dental, vision; 401K; and competitive salary.
