Job Description

Job Summary:

The Loan Processor is responsible for managing and reviewing loan documentation for manufactured housing real estate transactions. This role ensures all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies and regulatory standards. The Loan Processor collaborates closely with borrowers, dealers, underwriters, and both Inside and Outside Sales teams to facilitate the loan process from application through to settlement.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input loan applications into the Loan Origination System (LOS)
  • Prepare and deliver required loan disclosures
  • Collect all necessary documentation, including approval conditions specified by the underwriter
  • Order and track services from third-party providers (e.g., title, appraisal)
  • Maintain organized and accurate loan files
  • Coordinate and communicate with all stakeholders, including underwriters, attorneys, title companies, appraisers, and dealers, to ensure a smooth and timely loan process
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Bilingual Communication: Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Follow-Up: Strong organizational skills with a consistent follow-up approach on all assigned loans
  • Data Management: Accurate data entry skills and proficiency in managing loan data within database systems
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in a call center environment is a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 15 pounds

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week (day shift)
  • Non-exempt position
