GQR Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Woodland Hills, California.

Labor & Delivery - Registered Nurse – Nights - PRN

 

Start Dates: 11/12 (Must be able to attend all orientation dates for 11/12, 11/13, 11/17)

 

• PRN (ongoing contracts that need to be assessed every 4 weeks to ensure that candidate is actually working and picking up shifts weekly)
• Contract can be as long as 6+ month
• Length of contract will be set for 4 weeks and will need to be monitored and re-assessed on a weekly basis
• 24-hour notice given for shifts
• Hours: 12 hours per week
• Must be available to work at least 1 shift per week 

• Shifts are pre-booked in advance, similar to traveler scheduling

   

• Shift: Nights
• Float Requirements:
• Candidates will be asked to float based on scope
• Floating expectation - Travelers first to float to Post Partum
• On Call Requirement: NO
• Certs: BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Advanced FM, Fire Card Required
• License: Active CA RN License

Experience:

• Must have experience: 1 year of L&D
• Must have 2 years of RN experience
• Candidates with LDR experience would be best with circulating their own OR patients
• Baby transition nurse - Must be comfortable with this
• Family / Community tight nit environment.
• A candidate that would work well at this facility would be a go getter, someone who is always willing to help their coworkers, work as a unit and really focuses on patient care.
• This facility prides themselves on focusing on the patients on their community, so customer service is key!
