Compensation: $120,000–$140,000 base salary + year-end bonus

A well-established structural forensic engineering firm is seeking a Managing Structural Forensic Engineer to support its growing Florida operations. Position Overview
The Managing Structural Forensic Engineer will conduct property damage assessments, analyze root causes, and prepare detailed forensic engineering reports. The role requires a balance of remote work and in-field investigations, with approximately 50% intrastate travel (typically two to three days per week). The position offers a high degree of independence and responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform on-site investigations to assess structural damage related to weather events, construction defects, and material failures
• Prepare comprehensive, high-quality forensic engineering reports
• Communicate findings clearly with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders
• Review reports prepared by peers and contribute to maintaining technical excellence
• Manage a combination of remote work and regular field inspections throughout Florida
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Florida; NCEES Record preferred
• 2–3 years of experience in forensic engineering, structural inspections, construction, or building code evaluation
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
• Dependable, analytical, and aligned with a professional, client-focused culture
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50% within Florida
Compensation & Benefits
• Base salary of $120,000–$140,000
