Job Summary/Description: WBTV is searching for a morning news anchor (M-F) who embodies passion, drive, and a commitment to excellence across all levels. This position requires a true leader not afraid to take chances and excel. This person is adept at anchoring breaking news, field-anchoring when necessary, and enterprising community-centered stories. As a WBTV anchor, you must excel at developing sources and cultivating relationships in the greater Charlotte community. We are looking for a journalist who is determined to help our station win on every platform, every single day. In addition to the anchor role, this person is a leader and team player across the newsroom and beyond. We're searching for someone who can see an "On Your Side" story, whereas others may only see surface-level coverage. In short, we're looking for a strong journalist who can lead and inspire others to supercharge our brand.
