Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and caring Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our team! We have two state of the art offices located in Lionville and Paoli. As an Oral Surgery Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch care that makes our patients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the Oral Surgeon during consults, surgical procedures and complete administrative tasks such as posting treatment plans and scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate has at least two years of dental assistant experience. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities 

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the surgeon for consults and surgical procedures
• Assist surgeon during procedures and consults
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies

Qualifications

• Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure by the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB) is preferred, however will train the right person
• Previous experience as a dental assistant is required
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care
• X-ray certified is strongly preferred
