Location: On-site 4 days per week in Birmingham, AL. Relocation cannot be provided

Job Type: Direct-Hire

Compensation: $75,000 - $115,000 + Bonus

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled PeopleSoft Developer with at least 2 years of software development experience to support the design, development, and maintenance of PeopleSoft applications in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PeopleTools and a strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, including integration, reporting, and application customization.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy PeopleSoft applications, components, and customizations.

  • Work with business analysts and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.

  • Support upgrades, patches, and enhancements to existing PeopleSoft environments.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within PeopleSoft applications.

  • Maintain documentation of technical designs and configurations.
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on PeopleSoft applications.

  • Strong proficiency in PeopleTools (Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid development.

  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft security, workflow, and reporting tools (e.g., BI Publisher, SQR).

  • Understanding of modern development practices (e.g., version control, CI/CD).

With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
