We at Arizona Foot & Ankle Specialists are not just a traditional podiatrist office. We do all the normal everyday podiatric treatments and procedures that have been proven effective over time and testing. We also focus on ways to improve our approach to various conditions when we can, to help our patients heal faster. Examples include utilizing proven cutting edge advanced ancillary modalities such as EPAT/Shockwave therapies both Focus and Radial therapy to help restore, improve, and heal the patient’s body. We have DPMx which is human birth tissue umbilical cord allograft injectable, that can be used anywhere you would use cortisone to help heal, replenish, and restore damaged tissue. We also have MLS Laser Robotic Technology equipment to help heal and restore damaged tissue, by increasing blood flow and helping the body heal itself. This modality can be used for most any painful or inflammatory condition, painful arthritis, and peripheral neuropathy. We have a Remy Laser unit for toenail fungus which can be combined with other in-house treatments to get the best results. Regarding wound care, we have several advanced treatment modalities we offer our patients to heal their wounds as quickly as possible, such as UltraMIST wound therapy which is an acoustic wave therapy which promotes healing by controlling inflammation and reducing bacteria in the wound bed while increasing angiogenesis. We also have multiple options for wounds with advanced amniotic membrane tissue grafts when needed. We also offer SWIFT microwave therapy for multiple stubborn skin conditions. We now also have PRP treatments as an option as well.
We have advanced technologies within our office to help our providers render the best care available by offering top-of-the-line digital x-ray technology, mini C-arm, multiple diagnostic ultrasounds (color – vascular units, handhelds units), vascular testing equipment which is fast and effective, and Sudomotor neurological testing equipment as well.
We have carefully selected the best products available in multiple areas to offer our patients with regard to supplemental treatment options, such as lotions, creams, tinctures, etc., or DME products and supplies to provide support to augment the other treatments we have provided to our patients.
We have a surgical suite in our office with the needed equipment to perform traditional surgical procedures, as well as, we encourage our providers to learn MIS surgical techniques that really have a place in the podiatric space with much less pain, excellent results and patient satisfaction, with improved reimbursements compared to traditional hospital and surgery center options, even though those options are available as needed locally.
