Position Summary:

The ideal Project Manager or Senior Project Manager will oversee commercial electrical projects in Salem, Oregon, from preconstruction through closeout. This role includes full responsibility for budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, safety, and field operations. Candidates should have strong electrical systems knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience managing fast-paced, complex projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all administrative and operational aspects of assigned electrical projects.
  • Supervise project engineers and act as the primary point of contact for internal and external teams.
  • Develop and track budgets, labor task codes, job cost projections, and financial reports.
  • Prepare RFIs, submittals, and change orders; coordinate with clients on billing and collections.
  • Direct purchasing, subcontractor management, and project scheduling.
  • Conduct regular site walks with field teams and assist foremen with materials and methods.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, documentation, and jobsite quality.

Qualifications/Preferences:

  • 5 to 12+ years of experience managing commercial electrical construction projects.
  • Proven experience leading projects valued at $3M+ from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and field methods.
  • Clear track record of project delivery, client satisfaction, and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or similar software is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; field experience highly valued.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Oregon.
