Compensation & Benefits - Base Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
- Shift: 7AM or 7PM | 12h shifts

Job Summary The Clinical Research RN I is responsible for overseeing daily clinical trial activities, ensuring protocol compliance, and serving as the primary liaison between the research site and sponsors. This role involves delivering safe and effective nursing care, accurately documenting all trial-related activities, and upholding the highest ethical standards in clinical research.
Key Responsibilities - Provide nursing care to study participants, including monitoring vitals, labs, and clinical assessments
- Review and implement clinical research protocols
- Accurately complete and maintain study documentation in compliance with regulations
- Recruit, screen, and schedule study participants for assessments
- Maintain Case Report Forms and ensure alignment with source documentation
- Communicate effectively with sponsors and accompany them on site visits
- Maintain accurate study logs, inventory, and supplies
- Conduct informed consent procedures according to SOPs
- Monitor, document, and report adverse and serious adverse events
- Ensure proper collection, processing, and shipment of specimens
- Administer investigational medications per protocol and monitor patient safety
- Support quality assurance processes and resolve data queries
- Obtain Principal Investigator signatures on required study documents
- Provide guidance to support staff, patients, and clinical team as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- +1 year of psych experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform all clinical tasks within scope of licensure
- Ability to remain calm and effective in emergencies
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Ideal Qualifications - Prior clinical research or trial coordination experience
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for clinical research
- Strong relationship-building skills with patients, sponsors, and staff
- Experience in adverse event reporting and investigational drug administration
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills
