Incoming Inspector

BAE Systems is looking for a self-motivating Incoming Inspector to join their exciting team in Manassas, VA. The Incoming Inspector will report to the Supplier Quality Manager and perform the following tasks:

• Inspection of Mechanical assemblies
• Inspection of Printed Circuit Boards in accordance with IPC 600 & 610
• Inspection of Circuit Card assemblies in accordance with IPC 610
• Perform X-Ray Florescence testing of materials and interpret results
• Review of conformance and traceability documentation
• Entry of all information in the Quality Management System Database TipQA

This role will be performed full-time onsite because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular job. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• High school diploma or GED
• 0-3+ years inspection experience, 1-3+ years preferred
• Ability to read, interpret and inspect technical specifications and engineering drawings
• Ability to read and understand military standards, process sheets and other documentation related to the inspection of printed wiring boards, electrical and mechanical piece parts and assemblies.
• Proficient in the use of mechanical inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and go/no go gauges
• Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Candidate must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills and work with a multidisciplinary team

Pay Information:

Full-Time Salary Range: $46680 - $74687
