Job Description

One of our esteemed clients is looking for a Robotic Weld Technician . The ideal candidate will ensure that equipment is well-maintained, quality is upheld, and production requirements are consistently met.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, teach, troubleshoot, and adjust robots, weld controllers, and other equipment using PLCs and HMIs.
• Assist with equipment, component, and tooling changeovers, and provide support to ensure smooth production runs.
• Adjust MIG, Spot, and Arc Brazing schedules on various weld controllers .
• Perform daily preventative maintenance to ensure machines produce quality parts.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and ensure compliance with TS16949 standards and ISO 14001 environmental guidelines.
• Adhere to all legislative requirements of MIOSHA and be accountable for specific Health & Safety responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary diploma from a technical college in Robotics, Electro-Mechanical, or Automation.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience with strong PLC skills, and experience working with Motoman & Fanuc robots, and Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, read blueprints, and solve problems effectively.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and interact with all levels of employees in the organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
