Job Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all designated areas of the production floor, including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris to meet sanitation standards.
• Use and handle cleaning chemicals safely, in accordance with WHMIS and manufacturer guidelines.
• Monitor and report any potential maintenance or cleanliness issues to management.
• Follow all safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the team.
• Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards specific to pet food production.
• Adhere to all company policies regarding health and safety, environmental regulations, and food safety requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• 1-2 years' experience in sanitation or janitorial role.
• Must have good Communication skills (verbal).
• Consistent commitment to working safely.
• Demonstrated ability to react to situations with a strong sense of urgency using a creative and logical approach to resolution.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Work is performed on the production floor in a pet food manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to noise, raw materials, strong odors, and wet or slippery surfaces.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be always worn

Associate Requirements

• Background Check
• Must be at least 18 years old

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $19.05 - $19.05 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
