Position General Duties And Tasks :

Senior IBM DataStage Developer
We are looking for an experienced Senior IBM DataStage Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting clients' DataStage ETL application environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and support production issues, analyse and fix Job failures and give permanent fix when possible.
Collaborate with client stake holders and other teams including onshore and offshore.
Implement changes as per customer requirements.
Guide application deployments.
Suggest improvements for better performance.
Resolve issues reported in lower environments.
Mentor junior team members.
Participate in code reviews.
Work independently while being part of a bigger team.

Skills and Qualifications:

At least 5+ years of applications development experience in IBM DataStage.
5+ years of Linux Shell scripting experience
5+ years of working experience with SQL server
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience working in an onsite/offshore development environment
A strong team player who is self-motivated, dependable, proactive, organized
Attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Candidate must be in East Coast region
Occasional travel to client site may be needed
