Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
− Deciding on appropriate sewing techniques before work commences
− Performing alterations to existing patterns or creating your own ones
− Selecting suitable thread and placing this onto the spool spin
− Cutting, sewing, and gluing fabric according to the requirements of each article
− Affixing buttons, zippers, clasps, laces, and similar fittings
− Operating the foot pedal, plus the stitch length and width regulators, as you sew
− Replacing the sewing machine's needle, as required
− Detecting and repairing basic faults with the sewing machine as they occur
− Scheduling repairs for the sewing machine and its fittings, as needed
REQUIREMENTS
− Must have single-needle industrial sewing experience
− English not required
− Completion of a sewing course is preferred
− Demonstrable experience as a sewing machine operator
− Ability to create, read, and follow patterns
− Working knowledge of sewing machine mechanics
− Outstanding eyesight or utilization of corrective measures
− Innovative, thoughtful, and attentive to detail
− Top-notch interpersonal skills
− Ability to manage your time effectively
COMPENSATION
− $17.50 per hour

WORK HOURS
− Monday through Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM
− Paid overtime as needed
RESPONSABILIDADES
− Decidir las técnicas de costura apropiadas antes de comenzar el trabajo
− Realizar alteraciones a los patrones existentes o crear los propios
− Seleccionar el hilo adecuado y colocarlo en el carrete
− Cortar, coser y pegar tela de acuerdo con los requisitos de cada artículo
− Colocar botones, cremalleras, broches, cordones y accesorios similares
− Operar el pedal y regular la longitud y el ancho de las puntadas mientras que cose
− Reemplazar la aguja de la máquina de coser según sea necesario
− Detectar y reparar fallos básicos de la máquina de coser cuando ocurran
− Programar reparaciones para la máquina de coser y sus accesorios, según sea necesario
REQUISITOS
− Experiencia en costura industrial con máquina de una aguja
− Ingles no es requerido
− Se prefiere haber completado un curso de costura
− Experiencia demostrable como operador/a de máquina de coser
− Capacidad para crear, leer y seguir patrones
− Conocimiento básico de la mecánica de la máquina de coser
− Visión excelente o uso de medidas correctivas
− Innovador/a, reflexivo/a y atento/a a los detalles
− Habilidades interpersonales excepcionales
− Capacidad para gestionar el tiempo de manera efectiva
COMPENSACIÓN
− $17.50 por hora

HORARIO DE TRABAJO
− De lunes a viernes, de 8:00 AM a 4:30 PM
