Job Summary:

Design custom corrugated displays and packaging utilizing industry knowledge and retailer requirements. Work closely with our sales team to determine and meet our customer needs. Support the production team throughout the manufacturing process.

Essential Job Functions:

• Design product to meet customer needs and fit YC production capabilities
• Create samples and mock ups for customer approval
• Operate a CAD program and automated drafting table
• Secure quotes for outside fulfillment and digital printing
• Create and maintain cad specifications
• Attend Pre Production meetings for new jobs
• Support production press side during production operations

Other Functions:

• Order cutting dies for production
• Transfer files to customers/ad agencies
• Make sales calls and customer presentations
• Perform various industry testing methods

The employee is also expected to perform such other duties and functions as required and assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Proficiency in the following computer software: Windows, Excel, Outlook, Artios
• Mechanically minded with the ability to trouble shoot and problem solve
• Ability to work within a team atmosphere on a project basis
• Ability to see and work in a 3d environment
• Good communication skills with both internal departments and external customers
• Basic math skills

Machines/Tools/Equipment:

Windows based computer system, copy/fax, CAD program, CAD Table, various testing equipment, basic hand tools including dead blow hammer, knives, tape guns and hot glue guns

Safety:

Employees are expected to follow all facility safety guidelines that include adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Food Safety as outlined during their training.

Working Conditions:

Primarily an office environment with regular exposure to a loud manufacturing environment

(Hearing protection required in many areas of the plant). Occasional travel with sales team for

customer presentations and customer production line trials.
